CombiPlast is a combined case erector and Bag-in-Box machine.
The case blanks are placed manually on the infeed conveyors inside the magazine. The machine then picks up a blank from the magazine and erects it to form a case. The case is fed through the machine where it is sealed at the bottom with tape, and where the bag is automatically inserted into the case. The bag is picked up from a dual magazine by means of vacuum. The bag is spread out so as to fit neatly into the case’s four corners. The bag ends are folded over the top edge of the case. The machine comes with a photocell unit for installation downstream from the machine. When the photocell’s line-of-sight is no longer blocked, a new cycle starts. The bag magazine can be replenished without stopping the machine.
